Detailed Job Description:
- Interaction with the client about High-level architecture of headend components and its underlying architecture and services for spectrum guide project.
- Discussing the issues, risks, and limitations, etc. for the present and future deliverables of Zodiac code, AMS and AV.
- Understanding end-to-end architecture of functional modules like VOD, PPV, Instant upgrade and ATSC and DVB standards and writing Python, Shell scripting for automation.
- Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins
- Analyze business requirements and convert them to technical design to meet business needs.
- Actively manage, improve, and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS, EC2, S3, and RDS, including backups, patches, and scaling
- Built and deployed Docker containers to break up monolithic app into microservices, improving developer workflow, increasing scalability, and optimizing speed
- Collaborating with other DevOps engineers to maintain a deployment and management strategy - Assisting with creating and maintaining an automation and monitoring framework - Developing automation using Shell scripting, Linux, Chef, etc
Technical Skills: Devops, Docker, CI/CD, Python, Shell Scripting, AWS, EC2, S3, RDS, Linux, Jenkins, VOD.
Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent or closely related field with relevant experience.
