Detailed Job Description:
- Lead Persistent Data Modeling, Messaging Modeling, Data Migration, ETL specification and Normalization on Data Model
- Apply Data Governance Processes and guidelines on each Data element at Enterprise Level.
- Apply Metadata Management techniques on Enterprise-wide Data elements
- Assist Data Model for NO-SQL Databases
- Observe Data implications of Data through upstream and downstream applications
- Make Key decisions on technology and tools to implement from a data platform technology standpoint
- Maintain costs from a Bill of Materials perspective being able to justify spend
- Estimate work effort for data related technologies
- Innovate on the latest technologies
- Lead cloud hosted data persistence technologies for redundancy, resiliency, performance, maintenance, and sizing.
- Thorough understanding of Kafka, producer / consumer / topic technologies and drive implementation of the technology
Technical Skills: No-SQL, ETL, Data Modeler, JAVA, SQL, Erwin, Kafka, RSA, Apache Atlas, BDW.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent or closely related field with relevant experience
