Detailed Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of experience in Admin and Dev ops
- System Administration experience on Linux operating system
- Distributed systems in a On-premise or Cloud environment
- Strong Automation and Programming experience in Ansible, Chef, Python, Shell
- Redhat and CentOS Administration experience
- Deployment, Config , Turning and Monitoring for Hadoop Ecosystem components: Spark/ Yarn / HBase / HDFS/ PIG/ HIVE/ Kafka/ SOLR
- Devops Pipelines using Ansible/Chef and CI/CD using Jenkins
- Experience troubleshooting and actively debugging live production systems.
- Ability to identify improvements, and work with the team design solutions that will be deployed into production.
- Provide on-site Linux System Administration support for Hadoop Cluster and related software stack
- Change Management process , Monitoring, Alerting and Ticketing for Data Lakes
- Experience with tools & technologies such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, StackDriver, Distributed tracing, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, NewRelic, PagerDuty, WireShark is a plus.
- Exposure to K8s
- Work directly with software developers to simplify processes, enhance services and automate application delivery facilitating the release of production-ready software.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
