·      The OSS Sr DBA will performance tune Oracle databases supporting Middleware applications and work with application teams to design data models to support the applications.

·      The DBA will also be responsible for database administration and installing/configuring/patching Oracle RAC on Linux platforms.

·      Candidates should have strong SQL/PLSQL development and database tuning experience, database design experience, and a deep understanding of schemas and data denormalization/normalization.

·      Experience supporting custom Java applications is also highly desirable.

Skills Required: Golden Gate, Oracle 10G/11G R2, DB Administration, Oracle RAC implementation and management (added 3/6) Performance Tuning, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, AWR report analysis, Streams, ASM, OEM Oracle grid, Unix Perl/Shell scripting.

Nice to have skills: Red Hat Enterprise Linux
