• Understand user stories /requirements in Jira for Bigdata/ETL testing
• Prepare System test plan covering requirements, Scope, environment, approach, risk issues and come up with mitigation plan
• Participate in Daily stand up calls and update the status to all stakeholders
• Perform End to End testing, functional testing, regression and Sanity testing
• Verifies different transformation that occur within the ETL data flow in Teradata DB
• Perform data validation across different databases (Hive or Teradata DB) with complex SQL/HQL scripts for testing various scenarios.
• Perform Data Quality Checks, Audit checks on the Source and Target data
• Involvement in Defect Management process Arresting all the bugs and log the bugs in JIRA and ALM for development and business team review
