Detailed Job Description:

• Developing test scenarios, cases, scripts and execution of scripts based on functional stories and technical designs. Experience in automation of test scripts.
• Experience serving as a key resource in system testing and debugging, ensuring that all system changes are adequately unit tested prior to turning them over to the user community
• Technical and functional experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.x
• Experience in development and documentation of new solutions or bugs for PeopleSoft HCM 9.x applications including pages, interfaces, database tables, batch programs and reports.
• PeopleSoft Payroll & Benefits functional understanding along with Long Term Incentive, Short Term Incentive, Employee Stock Options and Payroll Year-end activities.
• Experience in building complex payroll reports in Union based Payroll along with latest tax updates in PeopleSoft and should be able to complete testing & reviews based on Functional & Technical designs.
• Experience in PS HCM, PeopleCode, App Engine, Workflow, SQR, Component Interfaces, App packages, Integration Broker, Web Services, Query
• Experience working in SQL development/coding
• Experience with Atlassian Jira in an agile work environment a plus.
• Experience in Jira story creation documentation for developers to take up and design. 
• Background with analytics and reporting with Cognos, developing workflows and alerts also a plus. 
• Strong experience with debugging issues in a production environment.
• Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal
• Experience integrating job scheduler with automation tools such as CA ESP Workload Automation.
• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Experience in Design and architecture review
• Experience providing application support including system/batch monitoring and processing, handling user questions and queries, investigating and solving system problems, and providing on-call support services
• COBOL experience as some customizations are written in COBOL.
