Detailed Job Description:

• Collects, clarifies, and translates data requirements into documentation and conceptual design.
• Develops and delivers Business Intelligence metrics, reports, data conversions and mapping.
• Designs and implements data solution by inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusion and supporting decision-making.
• Clearly defines and documents data journey that aligns to the business processes.
• Evaluates organizational methods and provides source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets.
• Creates best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
• Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document data requirements; translates non-technical requirements into technical business requirements
• Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
• Uses current knowledge of business and technology to recommend systems and process improvements
• Partners with architecture and solution delivery teams to enable BI/data applications that have long-term value
• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and works with customers to uncover unmet business needs

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
• Minimum 8 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst for Data and Analytics solutions
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and scripts. Experience working on MYSQL / SQL Server is a plus
• Must have Data Profiling and Data Validation skills. Data Governance experience is a plus.
• Experience with cloud databases is a plus.
• Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience. Experience in PowerBI or similar business intelligence tool in visualization is a plus.
• Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• An inquisitive, detail-oriented mind and a passion for using data and analytics to drive results.
