Basic Qualifications:
- Required around 10 years of object-oriented programming experience
- Required 5+ years of recent C++ experience
- Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes
- Familiarity with templating in C++
- Knowledge of the latest C++11 standard
- Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions
- Knowledge of component data sheets and specifications
- Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning toolssuch TFS and GitHub.
- Experience producing technical designs for software applications
- Must exhibit good judgment in decision making.
- Able to troubleshoot complex systems including hardware and software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Retail experience, especially in the Convenience Store industry and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- HTML5 experience
- Linux experience
- XML, XSL
- C#, .NET
