Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• 8 to 10 years of experience in VMware, Server and Data Center administrator
• Excellent Knowledge of Private cloud environments
• VMware VSphere Certified professional (VCP/VCAP)
• In-depth and hands on experience with vSphere and other VMware products including design, install and administer VMware virtualization platforms
• Regular support of VMware and windows/Linux environment by resolving escalated tickets for internal and external customer
• Must be having working knowledge of servers, networks, and Windows/Linux operating systems
• Extensive experience in coordinating with remote engineers to rack and install physical servers
• Build and install Compute infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines
• Should have experience in server administration
• Must have knowledge of Data Center management and maintenance such as racking, stacking, power module, cable tracing, network connectivity and remote management of Data Center devices
• Experience of designing, setting up, managing, and troubleshooting information/network systems at data centers
• Excellent problem-solvers having expertise in issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem management
• Experience in Scripting knowledge in Python, Ruby or Ansible will be highly preferred
• knowledge in Storage technology, e.g. Hitachi, HP will be an added benefit
• knowledge in Openstack private cloud or Kubernetes knowledge will be the added benefit
• Perform problem management for permanent resolution of issues and incident reduction
• Follow and adhere to the ITSM processes
• Should be willing to work on 24X7 operation model and provide on-call support on Weekends and off-hours in case of business need
