Detailed Job Description:
- End to End API delivery which includes Planning Design Development Testing and Delivery of APIs
- Design, configuration, and implementation of Apigee Edge suite of products
- Implements API management solutions using Apigee to include API proxies security and analytics
- Design and develop REST APIs using API Management platform
- Create REST API documentation
- Implement requirements of the API layer like security OAUTH 2 0 custom analytics throttling caching logging request and response modifications
- Standardize the CI CD setup for Apigee for automated deployment
- Create custom policies and or transformations in Java JavaScript Python etc in the API management platform
- Implement API monitoring and system support for production application services client facing environments
- Ownership and responsible for End to End API delivery including design development testing and publishing
- Ability to define create and execute integration tests API testing unit testing etc
- Apply internal standards for re use architecture and testing general best practices and help enhance system capabilities and build robust scalable systems
- Work with various teams for issue resolution defect fixes and providing overall support for APIs in Apigee platform
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Technical Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in building Enterprise Integrations and Micro services architecture
- At least 2 years of experience in API Development and Strategy
- 1 year experience in development and testing of Apigee API proxies security analytics shared flows custom policies in JavaScript Java Node JS etc
- Deep understanding of API design standards patterns and best practices
- Swagger 2 0 and OpenAPI 2 0 3 0 REST SOAP MQ JSON OAuth 2 0 Microservices etc
- Experience with Apigee SaaS platform
- Build and create shared flows for Error Handling Security
- Hands on experience in Apigee API development testing and support Apigee certification would be a great plus
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in creating custom policies using Python Integration with Azure B2C authentication OKTA
- Prior experience working in Financial Module Payment Processing
Experience required: 4 Years
