Detailed Job Description:
- Business Analysis; research and recommend or develop innovative solutions in support of business needs, in support of the City’s Strategic Framework.
- Technical Analysis/Design; ensure data integrity; and utilize development tools to maintain applications, interfaces and reports.
- Technical Design; using systems architectural and design principles to plan, modify and implement application solutions.
- Development; new application development and deployment including upgrades and enhancements to existing solutions.
- Change Management ; understand implications of the changes & methodically incorporate changes into the technology ecosystem.
- Code Review
- Quality Assurance.
- Ensure system preparedness related to code changes, analysis, design, requirements & development.
- Create, debug & run database scripts to conduct data analysis, accuracy validation & data maintenance.
- Designs, implements, evaluates, and facilitates system tests for new applications or enhancements to current applications
- Technical Writing; documentation including standards, policies, procedures, and strategies to be used as training knowledge base for IT staff members.
- Maintenance and Operations for Application support; plans, schedules and performs application upgrades.
