Detailed Job Description:
- Lead technical aspects of project delivery by collaborating with functional teams, business units, vendors and partners
- Develop POCs and present solution options to senior leadership to help solve complex business problems
- Establish high standards and act as the mentor to the development teams
- Drive release management and change management processes
- Implement process improvements by collaborating with the platform team
- Contribute to roadmaps and accelerate the adoption and maturity of the platform capabilities
- Lead a technically diverse team geographically dispersed in the US and in India
- Good Communication and presentation skills, Client handling.
- Service-now custom Application Design & lead the development.
- Hands-on design, development and deployment experience with the Service-now platform.
- Hands-on migrating data from different tools into ServiceNow.
- Good at creating required information for Reporting and Dashboards
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and processes.
- Ability to both configure and demonstrate solutions in the ServiceNow platform
- Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Build POC solutions in demo instances for proposed solutions in context of a services engagement
- Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
- Advice the solutioning to the client on different scenarios
- Process documentation
- Code reviews and make sure to follow clients best practices
- Handling stories & Tasks in JIRA
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as ServiceNow Technical Lead and in that atleast 2+ years of experience on Custom Application as a Technical Lead.
- 5+ years; ServiceNow development experience in ITSM, ITOM, SAM, ITBM and/or equivalent
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Implementation certification
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow configuration and implementation
- Success as Lead Consultant in 5 or more end to end ServiceNow implementation projects
- Knowledge of JavaScript or similar scripting language
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and demonstrated project management skills and experience working directly with customers and clients
- Knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services
- Experience with full cycle implementation in ServiceNow primarily on HRSD
- Strong knowledge on the core ServiceNow platform, platform security, AppEngine and integrations
- Hands-on experience in configuration and development in business rules, workflows, UI actions,
- Hands-on experience on Scoped Application development, Service catalog development,Service Portal development, Inbound/outbound REST API calls for integrations
- Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the service-now.com
- Strong expertise in Agile development/SDLC methodologies, Test Automation
- Experience in release management and change management processes
