Detailed Job Description:

• Monitor NSX daily backups 
• Monitor NSX system health 
• Monitor ESG/Edge nodes for physical to virtual connectivity 
• Review routing between physical and virtual environments 
• Assist OPCS team with daily support task that arise in the NSX/VMware environment as related to network reachability 
• Assist OPCS team with daily support task that arise from NSX/VMware alarms as related to network reachability 
• Keep documentation/drawings up to date, modify as needed 
• Participate in future Design meetings 
• Certifications preferred – VMWare Professional – Network Virtualization

Work with deployment team to 

• Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when migrating between ESXi host 
• Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when rebooting redundant nodes 
• Test ESG/Edge nodes failover when physical uplink fails/admin shut 

Experience required: 5 Years
