Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform Data analysis for business initiatives by seeing through the data and analyzing it to find conclusions in trends, patterns and categorization
- Apply strategic thinking against very complex business and technical problems to create data structures that can support business enablement and growth
- Analyze current system data structures and identify opportunities for simplification and additions
- Recommend and drive cross-functional continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform ad hoc data mining, analyses, and participate in special projects
- Understand source data and determine the correct system of authority, prepare supporting documentation identifying data elements in need of remediation
- Write SQL queries to extract data from disparate databases to support data quality management initiatives
- Develop reports, summaries, recommendations, and produce visual representations of data that clearly and easily communicate complex ideas or results
Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of business and technical experience
- Acumen to understand business logic and product offerings
- Adept at complex data models
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with Senior Architects on deliverables
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related business, engineering or quantitative field (e.g. CS, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)
- 4 to 7 years of Financial Services and/or Retirement Industry experience
