Job Description:
- Support the daily operational needs of Genius/Emcee and assist users in all aspects of Genius/Emcee
- Research and resolve issues of Genius/Emcee
- Assist with the data conversion from Genius/Emcee to the new application
- Update any Genius/Emcee program(s) to address any legislative or program area changes that need to occur prior to the new system going into production
- Functionality and programming of company coverage limits, JUA rate changes, primary insurer information, assessment calculations, financial receipts, and claims payment updates
- Enable and disable user permissions on specific system subsets on an ongoing basis as directed by the program area and IT Director
- Execute, test, and provide system reports as needed
- Perform system checks to ensure that daily updates have occurred and are accurate
- Assist in providing details of Genius/Emcee’s Database structure;
- Assist in generating data files from Genius/Emcee in a format that can be efficiently performed in the new application;
- Provide a conversion plan that includes data mapping for data that will be coming out of Emcee/Genius and into the new system.
- Work with the business area to make sure they understand the mapping process so that they can verify that the data is accurate;
- Performing programming changes at the direction of the Executive Director and IT Director
- Updating coverage and/or claims fields as necessary
- Providing data reports as necessary
