Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide and support the data migration team in implementing the data migration pipeline solution
- Drive data mapping sessions of business system migrations with business stakeholders
- Lead technical design discussions with various stakeholders (Client Architects, Analysts, Developers)
- Execute solutions to extract, load, cleanse, transform, validate using advanced database knowledge and skills
- Build an effective solution to migrate large volumes of data into a target data model within acceptable SLA limits as per requirements
- Provide hands-on technical and development support to the data migration team during the implementation and testing of the solution across multiple environments
- Produce Architecture, High Level and Detailed Design documents
- Perform technical assessment of new scope for data migration activities and produce effort estimates
- Support end to end testing life cycles activities that are related to the data migration activities.
Skills/ Competencies:
- Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years in leading data migration projects
- Strong working experience in data analysis, data mapping, heterogeneous data identification, data transformation activities
- Strong experience with design and creation of ETL packages for data projects using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong skills working with data base servers SQL server Database, SQL and PL/SQL, SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
- Agile projects experience by leading and working with remote development teams
- Strong skills in designing optimized solutions to process large volumes of data. Knowledge of query optimization techniques
Preferred:
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops
- Industry domain experience with Finance, Mortgage, Loan, Leases
