Detailed Job Description:

• Strong, demonstrable work experience with Jenkins CI/CD, Orchestration, Maven, Nexus, and Automation for platform services,
• Strong, demonstrable Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, Scripting experiences
• Pipeline development for developing and provisioning AWS, Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure services for high reliability, performance, and resiliency
• Strong, demonstrable experience with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, IAM, EBS, S3, EKS, VPC, SG, Kinesis as well was Kubernetes
• Strong experience with source code management, GIT / BitBucket, PRs and GitWorkflow
• Strong, demonstrable experience building and diagnosing Container / Docker based solutions
• Strong, demonstrable work experience building infrastructure automation solutions using REST API
• Strong, demonstrable experience with Splunk, DataDog, CloudWatch, CloudTrail for monitoring, diagnostics, and alerting
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills including the ability to investigate and remedy pipeline, platform, container, and integration issues with shortest MTTR
• Experience with developing AWS / K8S Observability and Alerting solutions for Platform Services
• Demonstrable, proven track record of supporting large scale, highly available production environment with the ability to proactively identify automation and optimization opportunities for optimal stability, ease of diagnostics, HA/ FT / DR, and optimal performance
• Part of 24 x 7 Support & on call rotation,
• Hands-On working knowledge of building microservices using Java, NodeJS, Spring Framework, Angular, and OpenSource libraries a strong plus
• Hands-On working knowledge with RDS / MySQL / NoSQL a strong plus
• Someone who can work under the direction of principal and senior cloud engineers, as well as proactively identify improvement opportunities and take ownership of known issues and problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong desire to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Experience working in fast paced Agile teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or related field required
