Job Duties: 

•  Maintain the highest level of expertise and competence in the proper operation and optimal use of complex enterprise application systems and the industry at large. 
• Develop solutions independently and/or collaboratively that are high performance, rapid response time, and as close to real-time as possible. 
• Provide technical and administrative support of complex, enterprise-wide analytics systems to ensure data integrity and proper system functioning. Processes and analyzes information in support of Quidel goals. 
• Develop and maintains understanding of the capabilities of existing SQL tools and actively pursues implementation and use of new features, keeping Quidel’s data consumers informed and empowered, and making sure the organization gets the most out of its Azure technology investments. 
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics packages using the full range of functionality available through Quidel's business intelligence suite of tools including Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
•  Ensure the data that is presented to the customer is connected to the enterprise data dictionary, standardized terminologies, and provides insight into data lineage and transformations subsequent to initial creation. 
•  Complete assigned tasks and projects on time, while proactively communicating 
  with project management or staff leadership to prioritize workflows and mitigate risks. Tracks issues and provides solution-oriented escalation. 
• Demonstrate collaboration within and across application teams. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
