Detailed Job Description:

• 5 to 6 years of experience as MySQL Database administrator
• Responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances
• Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues
• Identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations.
• Hands-on experience on Installation and configuration of MySQL
• Experience in MySQL DB clusters maintenance, management, tuning and operation.
• Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
• Experience in working on performance issues and ensure the availability of databases 
• Monitor and maintain the Replication activities
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
• Single Data Center and multi Data Center DB replication exposure in configuring, troubleshooting and failover of databases
• Planning and implementation of data migration from staging to production cluster
• Prepare SOPs, Documentation, and specifications
• Experience in Scripting skills required for performing and automating DB activities 
• Perform change documentation, review and execution
• Basic understanding of GitHub, DevOps tools, ServiceNow
• Perform problem management for permanent resolution of issues and incident reduction
• Follow and adhere to the ITSM processes
• Should be willing to work on 24X7 operation model and provide on-call support on Weekends and off-hours in case of business need
