Detailed Job Description:
- 10+ years of relevant experience with Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop, Applayerig) administration
- Candidate must have engineering level experience and expert in Citrix administration
- Experience in Deployment, management, and support Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix clients, StoreFront, Netscaler, Provisioning Services, Citrix Profile Management, Citrix Access Gateway, MS RDS licenses, and monitoring tools in an enterprise wide global environment, on premise or on cloud.
- Manages, maintains, supports, troubleshoots, and optimizes any Citrix solution presently in place while making suggestion and improvement.
- Defines product/solution strategy and roadmap.
- Works closely with service delivery and operations to ensure quality, standards and goals are met.
- Upgrade, Patch and migrate Citrix components as required.
- Citrix Receiver/Workspace endpoint troubleshooting and management.
- Continually monitor the health of the systems infrastructure, respond quickly to problems, and proactively troubleshoot irregularities before they become service-impacting issues (including performance tuning).
- Experience in providing automated solutions using Power Shell scripting
- Candidate must be Citrix certified
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
