Dtailed Job Description:
- At least 5 years experience as SME in OpenStack design, build and support project. Experience in Red Hat OpenStack will be preferred.
- Strong hand on experience in Red Hat Linux.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design, implement administration of Linux severs and Linux based solutions.
- Experience in implementing and administering Ceph storage
- Experience in supporting deployment of user applications on Open Stack
- Troubleshoot and maintain OpenStack operability
- Working knowledge of Build scripts & automated solutions using various scripting languages like Shell, Ansible.
- Hands on experience with various hypervisors
- Understanding of storage & backup functioning
- Ability to develop test cases for Openstack testing and Verification.
- Experience in creating/managing multiple tenants, creating quotas, triggering alarms when certain thresholds are reached, creating network and creating/customizing heat templates.
- Troubleshooting SDN related issues and working with network teams
- Client and stakeholder management
- Ability to identify risks and suggest mitigation plan

- Help in workload migration to OpenStack cloud.
- Migration run book creation
- Execution of migration
- Conduct OpenStack functional UAT
- Cutover and go live activities
- Migration risk and Issue management.
- Client and stakeholder management.
- Provide inputs to PMO teams for proper planning
- Milestone tracking and dependency management.
- Guide and lead the migration team
