• A minimum of 6/8 years of related network operations experience is required
• Experience managing complex Network infrastructure within data centers and remote locations is required
• Technical knowledge and experience with converged infrastructure, switching / routing in a large and complex Network, DHCP, DNS, IP, IP management tools, network management applications, WAN routing, WAN/LAN/Wireless LAN topologies, MPLS and other WAN technologies, IPT, traffic shaping / QoS, OSPF/EIGRP/BGP, firewalls (ASA/FTD).
• Through Knowledge of Routing and Switching; solid understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VSS) is required
• Knowledge of VoIP, Multicast, STP, VTP and Virtual LAN s and Trunking (VLAN s); Network Security (ACL s, IPSec Tunnels), Firewalls (Security Appliances), NetFlow, IPSLA, and VPN technologies is preferred
• Proven Troubleshooting experience
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Understanding ITIL standards, policies, and guidelines
• Understand and maintain SLAs
• Certifications such as, CCNA, CCNP highly preferred
