• Provide support on Linux SUSE/RHEL servers hosted on Cloud infrastructure.
• Proven work experience in a Ubuntu, RHEL and CentOS administration.
• Configure DNS, Postfix, IPTABLES and support SMTP services as required
• Hands on experience on Linux server Provisioning, Configurations, Patching and Administration
• Worked on Basic and Advanced system administration and troubleshooting
• Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash
• Ability to troubleshoot system level issues related to OS and Database versions.
• Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring
• Hands on Experience in Samba, CIFS, LDAP, PAM, SSSD, user authentication
• Cluster configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• Expertise on File System and Logical volume management.
• Performance tuning and storage optimization
• Regularly monitor and maintain a log of critical services, performance of servers including monitoring of CPU, disk space, memory utilization.
• Strong knowledge in writing Shell Scripts, PERL and Cronjobs for automation.
• Experience in Apache Web Server support and administration.
• Installing and troubleshooting Tomcat/Jboss related issue
• Hands on experience in Firewall, Yum and RPM.
• Network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet
• Able to Manage cloud - based Linux deployments.
• Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence
• Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff
• Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work
• Managing the website and keeping internal networks running
• Ability to work on Major and high impact incidents and providing RCA

• 6-8 years of experience in Linux Administration
• Apache Tomcat, Shell scripting,
• Should have strong OS administration skills on Linux
• Maintenance and monitoring of Web based applications
• Red Hat Enterprise and Ubuntu Servers. DNS, LDAP, NIS, SAMBA
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Should be able to basic and advance level of trouble shootings
