Detailed Job Description:

  • Shall have min 10 + years of experience in leading global Laboratory Informatics initiatives on LabWare LIMS, eLN, LIMS integration with SAP, SDMS, CDS implementation / upgrade / integrations
  • Should have exhaustive knowledge in LabWare LIMS modules/processes like Lot management, Inventory, S&R, eLN, Method execution, QMIDI, Message engine, Stability, Investigation, Project, EM, Lab station, Empower interface, standalone interface, SMDS interface, etc. Integrate LIMS with SAP, Empower, Nugenesis, instrument standalone applications, Documentum, TrackWise
  • Knowledge in Business requirement analysis, Cloud Migration, Solution architecting, Design and implementation, Data migration, Performance management, System integration/consolidation, Configuration and customization, Testing and transition, User training, Computer systems validation
  • Understand Viatris Global LIMS functionalities and evaluate the compatibility of present LabWare LIMS configuration as per site requirement. These sites may manage present workflows by manual workflows (or) non-LabWare solution (or) site/regional specific Labware instance or any other suitable solution
  • Conduct deep dive to necessary granularity between Viatris Global LIMS functionalities and site process in terms of functionality/configurations, Master Data, supporting documents like worksheets, reports, practices, etc.
  • Gather requirements and generate an overall URS, site URS, and system functional requirements
  • Required new Development/Configuration/update existing process / module / template / report to meet individual site requirement
  • Design, develop, build, and document additional functionalities configuration as required at each site to meet the URS
  • Develop a plan for create/migrate the Master Data for each site into the Viatris Global Instance and execute the same with necessary validations
  • Manage, create and/or assist in building the Master Data for each site including the deployment of your resources in addition to Viatris s site SME s as necessary
  • Provide input to PM of overall guidance to the functional team
  • Evaluation and input on the current project implementation strategy and project schedule
  • Participates as needed with design related decisions
  • Facilitates technical problem solving
  • Assists the team with the complex technical problems, development of test strategies and release of all software iterations and patches
  • Reviews the quality of all deliverables: code, tests, documentation
  • Acts as a first single point of contact in case of complex issues
  • Facilitates the proper implementation of each major task
  • Represent the functional team at the project meetings
  • Promote and assure adherence to solid project management principles
  • Assists with work breakdown structure and estimations
  • Identifies technical project risks and possible mitigation actions
  • Follow the defined escalation process
  • Partner with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and technical team
  • Assists with scope/change management
  • Facilitate functional requirements support to the development teams and assist in defect resolution and prioritization process
