Introducing leading edge technologies and methods with the goals of preventative outage detection and improving the customer experience; not only introduce these techniques but also follow through with development and implementation and provide a guidance amongst the technical staff.
Provide support functions as necessary to ensure the stability and continuity of Systems and Metrics systems and processes.
Prevent and resolve all technical and process related issues.
Work independently on tasks of moderate and high complexity and assist the Reporting, Data Engineering and Monitoring groups when necessary.
Assist junior level, newly hired team members and contractors in operational and technical procedures.
Primary skills/experience:
Expertise in working RHEL Linux, UNIX environment.
Expertise in Java development experience
Experience with NoSQL platforms like MongoDB.
Provide Systems Engineering and Development.
Provide System Enhancements, Automation as needed.
Secondary skills/experience:
Strong knowledge of scripting languages bash, ksh, tcl.
An understanding of Big Data concepts.
An understanding of networking/routing in a distributed computing environment.
Data analysis, Troubleshooting, Networking between systems.
