Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. Candidates that have completed a Master’s degree program strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability, including 4+ years in cloud native development.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Java and Cloud based architecture and frameworks. Maintain and contribute to product platform as necessary.
• Maintain and support products that are released to stakeholders and customers.
• Facilitate discussions among other developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen technology platform and development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks or related field.
• Experience working in the public sector.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in React JS and cloud native development.
• 3+ years of experience in implementing, hosting and debugging Web services.
• Strong understanding and hands-on programming/scripting experience skills – JavaScript, JQuery, React JS, Python.
• Experience in Performance tuning in SQL.
• Experience in JSON.
• Knowledge of software development/ implementation processes to appreciate and apply the processes.
• 4+ Years of experience of Cloud Native architecture, development, and deployment on AWS.
• Experience in Containerization. 
• 3+ Years of Experience with Micro services development using spring boot or any other technology framework. 
• DevOps experience, including in tools like Jenkins/Bamboo /Maven/Gradle. 
• Experience in cloud native databases (DynamoDB, AWS RDS etc.). 
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
• Experience of Cloud Native architecture, development, and deployment on public clouds AWS.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Marathon, etc.) strategy design, scheduling, orchestration, and deployments. 
• Strong experience with Micro services development using spring boot or any other technology framework. 
• Experience in DevOps process and tools like Jenkins/Bamboo/UrbanCode also build technology like Maven/Gradle. 
• Strong programing/scripting background (Java/Springboot, .Net, NodeJS, Python, GO). 
• Microservices development, management, and orchestration. 
• Monolithic ->Microservices decomposition strategy & implementation.
• CI/CD build and configuration (Jenkins, Git, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Cloud migration refactorization & re-architecture for databases and applications. 
• Cloud native database integration & optimization (DynamoDB, AWS RDS, Datastore, CosmosDB). 
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
