Job Duties: 

• Understand the Data elements received from the Copybook (cobol) 
• Coordinate with Source team to understand the data dictionary 
• Understand the BIAN framework aligns with the data elements 
• Prepare the Mapping to the BIAN data elements 
• Prepare the RSA Model 
• Generate the avro schema and DDL scripts according to the Database 
• Understand the Product Definition of the Base Plan and Quote processes 
• Identify the Conceptual entities based on the product definition 
• Design the conceptual data model based on the Product definition 
• Prepare the Data Dictionary for the Conceptual Data Model 
• Prepare the Logical Data Model using Erwin Tool 
• Prepare the Data dictionary for Logical data entities 
• Prepare the Physical data model 
• Coordinate with Development team to explain the Logical and Physical Data model 
• Follow the Data Governance principles on the Data Dictionary 
• Perform the as-is analysis on Vendor connection database 
• Understand the processes within the application 
• Understand the physical tables within the database 
• Prepare the Conceptual data model 
• Map the conceptual entity to Physical table to understand the usage 
• Report the problem areas if any 
• Prepare the Architectural framework for As-is analysis using ToGAF framework 
• Evaluate the Data modeling tool and recommend the best one 
• Provide the PoC using Erwin Evaluation tool 
• Apply the Architectural framework to perform as-is analysis and provide the findings report. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
