Job Duties: 

  • Oversee IV-D data conversions. 
  • Work with the Implementation team to facilitate smooth and timely data migrations. 
  • Use creative techniques to compare data with conflicting data types and resolve issues 
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to verify correct conversion completion and effectively communicate with Project Managers. 
  • Collaborate with the Development team to ensure vast quantities of data can be moved into the system without affecting performance. 
  • Oversee analysis of databases with the goal of producing the initial Data Mapping /Table Mapping for the ETL Extract process. 
  • Evaluate code/scripts to Load the data into the target database. 
  • Help to implement tools, scripts, queries or applications for accessing and analyzing data and migrating data. 
  • Understand technical specifications for ETL processes or components; He/she needs to be able to develop/evaluate production migration steps and documentation. 
  • Perform unit and system integration testing and performance test. 
  • Document step-by-step guides of the entire process from running reports, to combining and tweaking data, to importing via the tool. 
  • Provide accurate conversion timelines. 
  • Evaluate conversion manuals.  
  • Use cloud services to integrate different data sources and develop data lakes. 
  • Provide recommendations to optimize data pipelines and data warehouse queries. 
  • Implementing data solutions using SQL Serer, Redshift & SSIS. 
  • Acquire data from multiple data sources and maintain resulting databases, data warehouses, and/or data lakes. 
  • Conduct data analysis and capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Collect, analyze, and validate data prior to it being used or stored. 
  • As a SQL Developer transformation factory associate work to build a project management tool to help internal teams manage the transformation and migration process. 
  • The tool should enable and capture workflow changes mid-flight, provide lightweight workflow solutions to manage changes, visualize data, and generate reports. 
  • Manage the transformation process from onboarding, managing, reporting, to execution of various migration factories. 
  • Strong data analytic skills: Ability to troubleshoot data questions/discrepancies. 
  • Design/analyze database schemas and optimize database design. 
  • Strong T-SQL script creation, used in ad-hoc analysis and object creation. 
  • Design, develop, and test database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, constraints) that are highly optimized. 
  • Work with other Report developers and provide stored procs for Click report calls. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
