Detailed Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Business or other relevant area.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in an SAP Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Minimum 2 end to end SAP FICO implementation or support of 2 full cycles.
  • Expert level background in customizing and configuring SAP FICO - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
  • Strong configuration knowledge & experience in area of forex valuation, period open/close, balance carryforward, number ranges, special ledger, automatic/manual clearing, regroup and transfer, intercompany reconciliation.
  • Knowledge in creation of validation & substitution rules and GLSU (general ledger sheet upload).
  • Knowledge in assessment and distribution cycles, planning, budgeting, cost center/profit center reports.
  • Experience in handling issues related to month end and year end closing activities.
  • Rich experience in configuration of SAP FI & CO modules in IMG based on defined business requirements
  • Knowledge on FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-HR integration and also having ability to collaborate with cross-functional technology teams including individuals supporting MM, PM, PP and PS, BW, and BPC.
  • Basic knowledge in commitment management.
  • Knowledge of integration, IDOCS and interfaces.
  • Assess business and application requirements and design robust business processes while considered industry business practices.
  • Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a Lean Scaled Agile delivery environment.
  • Partnering with business teams to anticipate needs, assesses requirements and identify new solutions.
  • Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Passion for being the liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge implementing finance systems using project lifecycle processes including design, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Ability to perform functional and performance tests on the system in order to verify the changes implemented by developers.
  • Demonstrate the capability to communicate and document system changes to key stakeholders while translating system functionality into business relevant language.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with management, technical peers, and business stakeholders.

Good to have:

  • S/4 HANA FI and S/4 Central Finance knowledge.
  • Corporate Accounting experience.
  • Autosys (batch jobs).
