Detailed Job Description:

• 2 to 4 years of distributed application experience. Basic in Java or dotnet. PLSQL, SQL Experience. . Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills. Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot abends and complex problems under pressure
• Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with DB2and SQL constructs.
• Flexible with working shifts
• 5 to 8 Year experience in supporting web based application developed using .Net / Java.
• Unix Linux Experience of supporting Unix based applications including experience troubleshooting in a Unix environment.
• SQLDatabases MSSQLTeradataDB2 Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions.
• Familiarity with SQL constructs. Understanding of transactions, query plan analysis. Ability to wright any queries on the fly during issues resolution and user inquiries.
• Shell Scripting: Ability to write a shell script from scratch and ability to understand existing scripts by looking at them.
• Understanding of source code management concepts and experience with at least one source code control tool.
• Experience with incident on call and ability to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
