Detailed Job Description:

• Experience architecting solution leveraging Azure IaaS services, ASR.
• In depth knowledge of key Azure services - VM, Storage, Azure SQL, VNet, Redis Cache, Resource Manager, Azure Diagnostics/ OMS, Traffic Manager, Azure CDN, Azure Notification Hubs, Azure Identity and Access · Management, Infrastructure as Code etc.
• In-depth knowledge of design, implementation, engineering, automation and devops implementation, service operation and service improvement initiatives
• On premise / other cloud providers to Azure cloud migration using cloud migration tools like ASR/Cloud Endure etc.
• Proven experience assessing clients’ workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap
• Technology Manager with Azure cloud skillset.
• 8+ years’ experience in managing compute infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (certifications preferred)
• Good understanding and experience in managing Azure related operations using Portal or Azure CLI or PowerShell.
• Good understanding about various infrastructure technologies related to server, database, backup, storage, network, etc.
• Working experience in Windows and Linux server environment and related operations.
• Experience with Security best practices in Azure public cloud.
• Experience in executive medium to large infrastructure projects. Projects related to Azure is a plus
• Experience with Infrastructure as code automation - Azure ARM templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Good understanding about most commonly used Azure services like Blob Storage, AppService, Load Balancers, App Gateways, Database, Firewall, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain, and support Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Perform routine monitoring, maintenance and operational tasks with respect to Azure services.
• Responsible for implementation and deployment of infrastructure solutions based on Application architectural designs
• Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain core infrastructure and services in Azure through automation leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code
• Ability to Build and manage all services, including the orchestration/automation layer
• Maintain operational stability, enforce security measures, testing, development and deployment of new infrastructure related technologies.
• Track and monitor the usage/consumption of infrastructure specific services; ensure performance and SLA/OLA adherence.
• Improve existing processes through automating solutions of recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions
