Overview:
IT
is in need of a Project Manager - IP Telephony in the Corporate Office of
Technology in the New York office. The duration of this project
is approximately one year.
Responsibilities:
Provide
project management leadership for the implementation of IP Telephony.
Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of
the entire process from beginning to end. Responsible for coordination of
internal Guardian teams and external third party resources assigned.
Coordination
of vendor related activities with internal sourcing and legal departments
to secure contracts, resources and timely execution of work activity.
Manage project timelines, building baseline schedules and project
initiatives.
Manage
the expectations and training of technology transition from PBX dependent
systems to IP Telephony functions.
Conduct risk analysis and providing communication to appropriate
teams/personnel
Create status reports and presentations.
Define approach and solution requirements for the implementation.
Work with program manager, network and technical services teams in defining
requirements.
Facilitate/host kick-off meetings, weekly team meetings, project review
meetings, issues resolution meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required.
