• Should have in depth knowledge in Windows administration with MSSQL exp

• ITIL

• Installing and configuring SQL Server in clustered and stand - alone environments
• Windows Server administration and related services (Active Directory, DNS, DFS, NPS, etc)
• Installation and Upgradation of windows server and related services
• Upgrading and migrating SQL server and databases
• Patching service packs, cumulative updates and hot fixes
• Designing and configuring logical and physical database models for OLTP and OLAP
• Building database schema & objects such as tables, triggers, views, stored procedures & indexes
• Proficient in HA & DR solutions such as clustering, always on, mirroring, log shipping & replication
• Set up database maintenance plan, back-up, restore & disaster recovery strategies and procedures
• Expertise in T-SQL writing, stored procedures, triggers, indexed views and functions
• Managing SQL server and database security policies, procedures and permissions
• Deployment of database objects using TFS as a version control tool.
• Expertise in SQL server audit, policy based management & transparent database encryption
• Creating and automating jobs, database mail, operators and alerts.
• Proficient in performance monitoring, tuning, query optimization and database integrity
• Competency in SQL Profiler, activity monitor, DBCC checks, extended events, DMFs & DMVs
• Expertise in utilizing update statistics, error and event handling, and DB Engine Tuning Advisor
• Configuring, deploying, executing, and troubleshooting the SSIS packages, SSAS and SSRS
• Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Motivated and detail-oriented with strong organization and analytical skills
• 24/7 customer support in production and development environment
