Detailed Job Description:

Provide advanced engineering support services to end users:

  • Gather technical details
  • Troubleshoot issues to resolve problems
  • Provide status updates to product owner and stakeholders
  • Track all details in the issue tracking system (JIRA)
  • Provide issue review and triage problems for new service/support requests
  • Use DevOps automation tools, including GitLab
  • Contribute to Agile/Kanban workflows and team process work
  • Fulfill any ad-hoc data or report request queries from different functional groups.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have qualification:

  • A min of 6 years of experience in IT
  • Programming: 3+ years of experience with one of Java or Python programming language
  • Very good knowledge and work experience on AWS Services like EMR, Kinesis, S3, Lambda [2+ yrs. of exp]
  • Scripting experience with Python or NodeJS or JAVA [2+ yrs. of exp]

Good to have:

  • Hands-on exp with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch/DataDog/Splunk/Nagios etc.
  • Experience on “Infra as code” automation like Terraform
