Job Duties: 

• Responsible for the design and development of new electric forklift systems and components. 
• Responsible for interpreting product requirements to develop functional specifications and system requirements and conduct feasibility studies on new features and technology. 
• Participate in wire harness design reviews to ensure hardware compatibility with system design and layout. 
• Select motor drivers, controllers, sensors, and/or other electrical components that meet system requirements. 
• Create and update documentation including design detail, DFMEA, DVP R, test plans, test/calibration procedures, product manuals and other technical documents. 
• Calibrate system functions and performance using prototype vehicles. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software components of controllers and other electronic devices related to OEM forklifts. 
• Responsible for owning from end-to-end their entire component and product. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
