Detailed Job Description:

• At least 7-8 years of experience working with Oracle DB 11g,12c,19c
• Database upgrade experience - current direction is Oracle 19c for Oracle RAC clusters
• Oracle replication technology expertise using Golden Gate uni-directional and bi-directional architecture, DataGuard, etc
• Administering Oracle AQ, Materialized Views, etc
• Experience with Hadoop technologies, DataLake data migration expertise. Ability to support Oracle to DataLake migration support.
• AWS RDS, EC2 experience to spin up instances using Jenkins, Git, etc
• Oracle database performance tuning using scripts, Oracle reports like AWR, ADDM, ASH etc
• Working with the end users to tune SQL and fixing DB level performance issues
• Working on database backup technologies using RMAN and working on other Snap based storage technologies like 3PAR, VSU etc
• Expertise and working knowledge with Oracle database security technologies like TDE Wallet, Data masking, VPD Policies, Oracle DB Vault, database triggers, etc
• Experience with writing Unix shell script and script automation using cron
• Ability to work in a demanding 24x7 environment
