Detailed Job Description:

Work directly with business and IT leadership, functional experts, business analysts, and solutions architects to review power settlements solution with a fully integrated trade capture system, consistent with business and technology strategies. Expert knowledge of North American Power Settlements (physical / financial) and ISO processes.

Work Experience:

• 10+ years of functional experience in power markets augmented by 5+ years of integrated systems (Endur / Allegro)

Functional Must Have Skills:

• Power Lifecycle Experience
• Deep knowledge of NA ISO settlements and rules
• Physical settlements experience with EMA / Tolling / Load

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert in designing the functional data flows of a modern system for back office / settlements, including documenting, and agreeing key process and policy and trade-offs across diverse stakeholders
• Perform process reviews, requirement gathering, analysis across functional domains
• Thought leader in power settlements, will be the key advisor to process and procedures reviews
• Handling business changes and managing stakeholder expectations
• Manage communication across multiple teams, vendors, and consulting staff
• Knowledge of customer lifecycle for NA power

Project Management Experience:

• Thorough understanding of Agile delivery methodology
• Strong functional understanding of North American power and emissions/renewables trading

Demonstrated capability across most retail functional facets, including:

• Technical – Familiarity with vendor system solutions to address ISO settlements, Wholesale Settlements, EMA / Load / Tolling. Good understanding of system required configuration to optimize system performance and user experience.
• Integration - Experience with software vendor integration to ISO bid-to-bill solutions.
