Desired Skills and Experience*:

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• 2+ years of mentorship or lead experience supporting a small team of 2-3
• Hands on experience with software development projects with Fiserv platform
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other related field
• Strong design & development experience with JEE & Enterprise Technologies: JMS, JDBC, Web development, Transactions, WS-*, JVM, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMX, JTA, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate
• XML technologies: XSLT, XPATH, DOM, SAX, JAXP, XSD, XQuery Namespaces and XML parsers and tools
• File-based transfer applications (eg. Sterling, SFTP, etc.)
• Strong proficiency and hands on experience in Design and Development RDBMS architecture and performance tuning systems like Oracle/MS- SQL/SQL Server
• Experience building SpringBoot Microservices.

Plusses:

• Preferred experience with Web development, Mobile Development (iOS & Android), React JS/Angular JS/Polymer JS, NodeJS
• Preferred experience on public API development and using API Gateway like APiGEE
• Knowledge of building applications using container architecture with Kubernetes orchestration is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud is a plus

Day-to-Day *

A highly technical commercial bank is looking to hire a Fiserv Technical Lead. This Technical Lead will be supporting the organizations migration from Miser to Fiserv Signature Platform. They will primarily support the organization with partnering with the solution architect on design and presenting it to the Architecture Review Board, and bringing the design to fruition.

Furthermore this technical lead will be responsible for:

• Can work with infra teams by having a solid understanding of infrastructure components (desktop applications, network, firewall rules, OS, DB), database schemas
• Good in SQL, Data analysis, mapping, and data integrations
• Understand various integration mechanisms such as API, Batch, microservices
• Can install packaged applications, learn customizations and configure it
• Understand and implement DR strategy
• Understand Identify and Access Management integration (access controls, SSO)
• Smart, analytical, solid aptitude/quick learner, strong communication, documentation and usage of tools like Jira and Confluence
