Detailed Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 6 years of Information Technology experience (Per the JL)
- Experience in AWS, Java/J2EE, C, Soap Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, SPRING Framework, MQ, JUnit, Ant & Jenkins
- Expert in Java: language features, Spring Framework development, Object Oriented and modular programming (Design Patterns are a plus), profiling/tuning, garbage collection; proven track record of challenging systems-level Java/C development.
- Experience in UNIX based development environment
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
- Experience with Project Management/ Lean/ Agile development methodologies
- Experience in coordinating and communicating with external, cross-functional and geographically distributed teams and client stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Object-oriented programming and concepts
- Experience in RHPAM
- Experienced in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies/C
- Experience in developing Spring framework (web services) and other open source frameworks
- Conversant in Java design patterns
- Good understanding of SOAP web services and related standards like REST/JSON
- Experience in Java Messaging systems preferably MQ (IBM) and Kafka
- Experience in both development and quality assurance activities
- Experience in driving Integration testing, UAT with external vendors
- Experience in JUnit
- Experience working in telecom industry
- Exposure to Agile Methodologies
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management
- Experience managing team size of 4-5 would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
