Must have:
- Excellent working knowledge on Power BI
- Proficient in Power BI (DAX, custom charts, publishing dashboards)
- Hands on experience in writing DAX, MDX, OData feed and understand the custom visual and publishing content to Power BI online
- Business Object Reporting skills
- Good knowledge on Postgres
- Strong on SQL query and performance tuning ability
- Exposure to Python
- Exposure to databases like Oracle, SQL server
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- At least 4 years of experience in Power BI
- Graduate Degree or above in Computer Science or Engineering Sciences
Good to have:
- Certification in Power BI
- Hands on experience in Power Apps and Power Automate
- Good design aesthetic for Power apps UI building
- Oil & Gas industry experience
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies
As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for
- Gather and understand requirements from business users
- Perform data wrangling, transformation to prepare data for analysis in Power BI
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Understand data relationships, data models, metadata
- Build impactful reports using data visualization tool Power BI
- Responsible for Design layout and report development, apply transformation for the Data Model and Data validation and creating supporting documentation for Power BI.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with various cross functional development teams.
- Presenting data insights using high impact visualization
