Complete Description:
The consultant will perform the following functions:
•Create all Data Stage jobs required to load data to the existing TransINFO normalized Data Warehouse from the Staging Area.
•Create all Data Stage jobs required to load data to the existing TransINFO de-normalized (Star Schema) Data Marts from the Data Warehouse.
•Create Exception Log entries in conformance with the TRansINFO project standard methodology.
•Create Data Stage ETL routines to handle Slowly Changing Dimension (Type 2) data in the Star Schema Data Marts.
•Create comprehensive Test Plan with Test Cases designed to test all Data Stage jobs.
•Document all Test Case runs with expected and actual results.
•Support user groups during User Acceptance Testing.
Mandatory Experience
•Six years experience in ETL development in an enterprise data warehouse environment
•Four years experience in using DataStage Server and Enterprise Edition in an Oracle-hosted Data Warehouse environment
•Experienced in using DataStage Basic (DSBASIC) Language
•Experienced in Source to Target mapping between legacy systems and target databases
•Excellent SQL skills.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
