Detailed Job Description:

  • Responsible for monitoring, triaging, resolving, escalating and communicating network incidents/outages as part of a 24x7x365.
  • Perform third level incident outage triage, troubleshooting, and fix agent break fix actions on Cisco network infrastructure.
  • Provide detailed documentation and summaries of incident/outage tickets.
  • Ability to work an extended and flexible 24x7 day and night work schedule is required.
  • Network Administration
  • Knowledge of IP stack protocols and routing protocols
  • Remote support for network infrastructure ranging from minimal up/down to advanced level routing and switching troubleshooting on carrier grade routers/switches. Escalation to engineering teams as needed.
  • Linux
  • Troubleshooting specialized carrier grade network devices running Linux on their core. Minimal application logging investigation on some Linux servers.
