Detailed Job Description:
- Be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 6 years of Information Technology experience (Per the JL)
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise application development using C programming including extensive development, build & packaging using GNU, deploy and troubleshooting; creating custom libraries, memory management in C, integrating with Sockets, XML parsing / transformation using XSL, working with 3rd party libraries, Mainframe Screen scraping
- Experience in IBM AIX (v5.x & above), RedHat Linux (v8.x & above) platforms
- Experience in UNIX based development environment including scripting for Cron jobs and monitoring
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle including GIT for source code versioning
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- Experience in coordinating and communicating with external, cross-functional and geographically distributed teams and client stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Ericsson Topcom & TVO (Telecordia) libraries supported on AIX or Linux for mainframe communication using TCIS links
- Experience in IBM AIX to Linux Migration
- Experience in configuring IBM MQ (v9.2 and above) and administration like creating queues, memory management, disaster recovery
- Experience in Websphere to JBoss Wildfly migration
- Experience in Object-oriented programming and concepts in C++
- Conversant in C design patterns
- Experience in Java
- Good understanding of SOAP web services
- Exposure to basic Linux Administration
- Exposure to basic Mainframe Screens
- Experience in both development and quality assurance activities
- Experience in driving Integration testing, UAT with external vendors
- Experience working in telecom industry
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management
- Experience managing team size of 4-5 would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
