Senior Validation Developer (DCPS Validation Support - DVTT)

Position Description:
Add the new DCPS Database to the existing Validation Database System (VDB) to provide comprehensive test cases for validation, integration, and training. This will require production changes, ESEF changes, Dialog Manager changes, implementation of File-Aid RDX, Data Solutions and maintenance support for DB2 schema changes.
Provide technical support for backend validation processes that will be used by DCPS
Develop, maintain, and support validation-related automation tools and/or test technology. For example, DCPS may require automation tools to help them vary cloned data received from DVTT’s Validation Database (VDB).
Provide guidance and gather business requirements to identify new PII/FTI field elements and data interdependencies for the DCPS system as it relates to SSA’s Data Privacy.
Required Skills:
Experience in development with DB2 DBMS, REXX, JCL.
Experience developing with VB.Net, Excel, and SQL Server 2005 or later.
Experienced in requirements analysis, gathering and documenting requirements, and using tools such as Quality Center or Requisite Pro to house the requirements
Experience using File-Aid products such as RDX. Experience using development technologies including REXX, File-Aid RDX, JCL, CLIST, VSAM and SQL for DB2 Would also prefer experience using Compuware’s Data Solutions tool
Experience developing using REXX, DB2 DBMS, DB2 utilities, Microsoft SQL Server, Control-M (scheduling utility), JCL, and VB.Net Experience in the vendor tool, TestBase, preferred
Develop and enhance the infrastructure in Validation Database (VDB) to implement the data privacy requirements for DCPS.
Develop, maintain, support, execute, and monitor processes responsible for the back up, restore, and update (accretion) of DCPS and related validation databases.
PLEASE NOTE: (CANDIDATES need to have nine years with an MS degree or 11 years of experience with a BS degree. Experience can be a combination of either U.S. or overseas, part time or in college).
NOTE: CANDIDATES will be required to go through a background check for a Public Trust clearance. This means candidates should have NO misdemeanors, felonies, excessive traffic tickets or credit issues in their background.
