Job Duties:

• Plan, Design and Install SAN/storage and backup solutions, with UCS, EMC, Networker, VEEAM, Puppet technologies. 
• Perform necessary backup and HCI infrastructure design and maintenance in accordance with Dell and EMC and customer’s change management policies. 
• Provide analysis of VMware, Azure, Networker environment and recommendation of best practices for computer, storage, backup, recovery and archiving. 
• Responsible for capacity planning and disaster recovery planning and design as applicable. 
• Install and configure converged and HCI compute environments and technologies. 
• Perform job automation via scripting languages for storage arrays, and /or virtual environments, load balancing and performance tuning.
• Support and troubleshoot the expert level architecture design of the vxRails and vSAN environments. 
• Participate in root cause analysis reviews when applicable and produce documentation for procedures of the compute environment. 
• Monitor and analyze network performance of vxRails, VCF, SDDC and NSX tuning and provide reporting. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
