Detailed Job Description:
- Work with Product, Engineering, Customer Service and SMEs to refine product requirements
- Solve customer problems as a team
- Design within technical and business constraints
- Design within established brand & product guidelines
- Iteratively design and test wireframes and mockups in various levels of resolution
- Create solutions that scale and maintain integrity over time as the product matures and evolves
- Optimize products by monitoring metrics and testing alternative solutions
- Advocate and be a voice for the user
- Organize complexity into beautiful solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UX, Psychology or similar field
- 2+ years of experience solving challenging design problems with digital products
- Good understanding of user research methods, design fundamentals, and digital technologies (constraints & capabilities)
- Works effectively in teams of differing and opposing perspectives, doesnt get emotional over decisions and can defend position with clarity and poise
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to organize and present information on screen and verbally with a team
- Enjoys solving difficult and sophisticated design problems in an enterprise environment
- Efficient with design & industry tools
- Must have a solid understanding of graphic design and web technologies, and of wireframing tools such as Figma, UXPin or Adobe XD. A good grasp of design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Canvas is also necessary.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
