Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional project deliverables as part of the transition from the Fulton County Government to the Fulton County Board of Health
- Build and track a project schedule with key milestones, critical path dependencies and resource tracking.
- Manages communication of status, issues, and project budget to teams, clients/vendors, and management to ensure key deliverables are met.
- Manages project tasks (gathering requirements, facilitating design discussions, managing application development, testing, training, and roll-outs) as required to keep projects on track.
- Manages issue, risk and decision logs and documents key business decisions
- Build and presents project status reports/dashboards
- Works flexible schedule to allow for special tasks that require after hours implementations, updates, or testing
- Escalates key issues, risks and problems to leadership and helps build response plans to address
- Manages strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Keeps project status and resource forecasts current in reporting tools.
- Maintains technical and project documentation.
- Provide customer service responsibilities, including managing expectations, communicating project status, and reporting on lessons learned and retrospective findings.
Job Qualifications:
- 7 years’ experience performing in a project management role overseeing IT projects
- Experience working in a State Government environment deploying or maintaining IT systems
- 5+ years documenting systems, standard operating procedures, and/or governance documentation related to - IT systems
- PMP Certification
