- Experience as a Microsoft Azure cloud architect (2 - 3 years);
- Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (preferred, 2-3 years);
- Experience in Information Systems or another related field (5-8+ years);
- Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (preferred, 5+ years);
- Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment;
- Experience in administration of ESRI GIS software (2-3 years);
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years);
- Microsoft Azure certification (preferred);
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Services;
- Experience with Microsoft Server products;
- Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu);
- Experience with IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures;
- Experience with assessment and analytical process and practices;
- Experience in strategic planning;
- Experience researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions;
- Experience in application administration and hosting across a wide range of solutions;
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another related field (2 years of experience can substitute for education).
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment;
- Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions;
- Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services;
- Resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress;
- Enhance application and system monitoring solutions to ensure the right staff get the right alerts;
- Automate processes wherever possible;
- Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines;
- Troubleshoot development issues brought forth by developers and other architects;
- Present to your peers findings of new technologies, enterprise-wide issues, and enhancements you have made to better the mission.
