Must - Haves:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 10-12 years of experience in development
- Hands- on experience programming with Python 3 and Django
- Experience of automation of code deployment through the use of containers
- Docker/Podman experience
- Experience with RHEL Linux
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Bash
- Hands-on experience with code reviews and release management
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with CI/CD automation
- Experience with Git
Plus:
- Understanding of secure coding best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and implement new features for the platform.
- Work with team members to architect solutions to support evolving infrastructure and application needs.
- Configure, tune and test key platform components. Optimize runtime and security profiles.
- Delve into platform technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Vault, etc.), using or configuring in order to support the platforms goals
- Investigate performance or reliability issues, Debug and resolve production issues.
- Work with compute hosting teams to ensure platform requirements are understood for application and platform services
- Develop run-books and documentation
- Develop and deploy code into on-prem cloud platform
