Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the Control-M environments that support multiple applications.
  • Responsible for Control-M Upgrades, Migrations
  • Knowledge on Solution Designing, Time & Effort Calculation, HLD, LLD & other process related documentations.
  • Perform business analysis to gather functional requirements for software applications under development for automation.
  • Responsible for designing, reviewing, analyzing, and testing of new or existing workload automation to increase productivity and optimize job scheduling.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing or developed systems and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
  • Advanced knowledge of AFT and MFT Control-M jobs.
  • Knowledge of Control-M on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Control-M agents plugins: PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, databases, Informatica, Control-M for Java, etc.
  • Ensures system integrity of Control-M environment.
  • Participates in on-call rotation duties.
  • Investigation and troubleshoot 2nd tier support job failures.
  • Provides education to support and project teams on the workload automation scheduling process and scope.
  • Professional contributor that works independently on larger, moderately complex projects as assigned.
  • Has excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Represent the team or group at technical and status meetings as required.
  • Lead technical discussions to determine new application developments and/or changes within current application infrastructure.
  • Perform and assist others with root cause analysis postmortem reporting.
  • Maintain status of issues and their resolutions in the ticketing system, ServiceNow.
  • Adhere to change management and system development lifecycle policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
  • Prepare status reports for current activities and projects.
  • Install new software versions and patches ensuring correct system configuration and operation
  • Knowledge of any scripting - Shell, Python is good to have.
  • Knowledge of Control-M API, REST API.
